I am a full stack software engineer. For me, one of the most appealing aspects of programming is that I will never be done learning. I have been in the industry for just under 4 years, and have already been able to make an impact on some exciting, large scale projects.
My strongest language is Javascript, with the majority of my experience being in React and Node. Along with that, I enjoy working with Ruby, Golang, MongoDB, HTML5, CSS3, and SQL. The cloud fascinates me, along with DevOps, so most of my free time is spent on Heroku, AWS, GCP, Docker and Kubernetes, serverless functions, and bash scripting.
I attribute the majority of my success to the extremely talented people I have been fortunate enough to work with, and I make every attempt to repay that.
When I am not at the computer, I spend as much time as possible with my beautiful family. Baseball was my first love, and I still have my glove in the trunk of my car, just in case. I also enjoy reading, building things, and being outside.
